Director, Finance (Permanent, Full-time) – Richmond, BC

We’re looking for a Director of Finance to join our team. You will report directly to our Chief Executive Officer and lead a small but amazing team in daily accounting activities, financial planning, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and expenditure reporting to ensure we are effectively managing our financial resources.

As key member of our leadership team, this is a an opportunity to make a significant impact on Richmond Society for Community Living’s overall direction by providing detailed, timely and meaningful financial information and analysis to guide our business decisions.

 

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Month and Year end reporting/review
  • Financial statement preparation
  • Budget preparation
  • Preparation and coordination with auditors
  • Project reporting and analysis
  • Program reporting and allocations
  • Preparation of any government filings
  • Supervision and development of accounting staff

 

YOUR CAPABILITIES:

The ideal candidate is a results oriented, self-motivated and dynamic leader with a passion for innovative financial solutions with:

  • Have a minimum 3-5 years’ experience in a senior financial role, preferably in non-profit setting
  • CPA Designation
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines while working on multiple projects
  • Possess strong knowledge of accounting software
