Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Decision Support Coordinator. Reporting to the Manager, Operations & Service Performance, the Decision Support Coordinator is responsible for database administration and decision support functions for all services within the Programs and Services Operations department including serving as System Administrator overseeing CRM and funder databases, software applications, and statistical tracking mechanisms.
This is a permanent, full-time unionized position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Services or Business Administration, as well as a minimum of three years’ related work experience in decision support functions in community service or the health care sector. Strong data management, combined with formal training and experience in qualitative and quantitative data analytics as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially utilizing Excel pivot tables), is required as a large part of this role will include preparing proposals and funder reports to meet funding requirements (including Home and Community Care Support Services (HCCSS), Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development (MLTSD), Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services (MCCSS), and United Way).
We are also looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work independently, has exceptional time management and organizational skills, and can work well under pressure to manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines.
