We are hiring a Director of Operational Excellence!
The Director Operational and Clinical Excellence is responsible for providing centralized oversight and support for strategic operational initiatives and optimization across the organization. Scope of responsibilities include leading strategic optimization projects, developing and operationalizing new processes and initiatives in partnership with internal and external partners. and providing organizational leadership for project management. The Director will identify, evaluate and execute on risks and opportunities for consistent process, efficiencies, and improvement to the health information systems/clinical applications and data analysis across programs, while ensuring privacy, safety, and clinical best practices.
The Director will play a leadership role in advancing key organizational projects and operations across programs and services. This Director will manage a portfolio of diverse clinical projects covering areas of data integrity and reporting, clinical system improvements, and process redesign
One (1) Permanent : Full-time position: 35 hours a week. Evenings and weekends may be required

Location: In accordance with current Public Health directives, interviews and training may be conducted remotely (via Zoom or Microsoft Teams) or onsite respecting physical distancing depending on the nature of the session. The Hybrid Work Plan developed for this role presently requires this position to work from home some days and in office some days, with equipment provided by CMHA. The successful candidate will work primarily from our Newmarket Office (1101 Nicholson Road, Unit 5, Newmarket, ON, L3Y 9C3) and may be required to occasionally travel within York Region & South Simcoe for training or meetings.
The Director of Operational Excellence, Defines projects scope and goals in alignment with organizational strategy, coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and scope, and oversight for the continuum of project leadership including setting milestones, assigning responsibilities, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects. Provides organizational wide oversight for project activities to ensure alignment, prioritization, and effective implementation of strategic initiatives. Manages key organizational priorities of medium to high complexity. Provide project and operational leadership for operational initiatives including the establishment of the Mental Health and Addictions Crisis Hub. Actively engages with system partners to support system integration, access and operational effectiveness. Guides and facilitates key decision making among internal stakeholders and ensure alignment of initiatives with strategic goals and organizational priorities.
This position reports to, and is supervised, by the Vice President, Clinical Operations
