To succeed in this role, you must have experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, entering time and processing basic payroll, be able to produce journal entries and understand bank reconciliations. You will have excellent communication skills, have great attention to detail and a can-do attitude. We would prefer someone with education in bookkeeping but also understand experience can provide solid foundations. You will report to the Finance Manager and be part of a diverse team. Being able to work with others and be mentored are key to success in this role.
Compensation is competitive and after a 3-month probationary period will include a benefit plan, RRSP matching.
Our work hours are 35 hours per week, we have onsite parking, and you will be provided an office to work in. As an aboriginal based organization, cultural sensitivity is a must.
