Your Contribution

Archway’s Food Bank Administrative Assistant contributes by:

  • Answering the phones, assisting the public with information, responding to emails, opening mail and other clerical tasks.
  • Handling donations and issuing temporary tax receipts to donors.
  • Scheduling and rescheduling client food pick up appointments using client data system.

This position is a great fit for someone who values people from all walks of life, is organized, dependable and has a friendly disposition.

Our Offer

  • $18-$20
  • A full time position at 35 hours per week, availability Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
  • Temporary full time, Start January 2022 – End March 2022, possibility of extension

Getting an Interview

We would love to interview you if you:

  • Have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent credential
  • One year experience in a customer service or reception position
  • Are able to use Microsoft Office365, and the internet
  • Have good typing skills (50 words per minute), and demonstrated organizational skills
  • Are familiar with office machines, including photocopiers, fax machines and postage machines
  • Are willing to obtain a Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, with vulnerable sector check
