Your Contribution

Archway’s Community Coordinator with DEARS contributes by:

  • Organizing meetings and facilitating discussions between cross-cultural and interfaith groups
  • Researching and enriching diversity education training content
  • Compiling data/reports for briefings
  • Responding to crises, and helping people talk about racism, violence, hate crime, etc.

This position is a great fit for someone who thrives in raising awareness of discrimination, teaching educational workshops, and supporting victims of prejudicial and unjust treatment!

Our Offer

  • $23.00 per hour
  • A part-time position, 21 hours per week, to be available for work within a schedule of the Program’s operating hours of Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Getting an Interview

We would love to interview if you have:

  • Post-Secondary education in Human Services or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One year experience in youth or community programming and facilitation
  • One year experience building partnerships with community groups and government agencies
  • Experience facilitating meetings and conversations, and giving presentations
  • Experience in coordinating the work of volunteers is an asset.
  • Willingness to obtain a criminal record check, with a vulnerable sector check
