Willowbridge Community Services (formally known as Family Counselling Center of Brant - FCCB) is a not-for-profit organization offering developmental and counselling services across Hamilton, Brantford, Niagara, and Haldimand Norfolk. Willowbridge provides confidential counselling and psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families to explore the strengths and resources they can use to overcome challenges. Our counsellors focus on improving relationships, wellbeing, and healing from trauma. We teach skills for managing difficult situations, making healthy decisions, and reaching goals. We listen to clients’ unique experiences and offer a safe, non-judgmental space where they can move towards building a more positive future.


Reporting to the Director of Services, the Manager of Counselling Services is responsible for the effective management of all aspects of our counselling services including the development, delivery and evaluation of the Counselling Program and agency intake department. The manager will provide leadership and guidance to individual, couple and family therapists and professional staff ensuring the provision of trauma and attachment informed service is delivered in a welcoming and safe manner where clients can find solutions to reach their goals.

Required Competencies:
▪Master's Degree in a counselling related field (minimum of five years’ experience)
▪At least two years management experience with a member in good standing in the Ontario College of SocialWork or the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
▪Significant training and experience in trauma and attachment informed practice
▪Excellent leadership, communication, and consulting skills
▪Good knowledge of the Hamilton and Brant social service sector
