Who We Are:
The Learning Enrichment Foundation (LEF) is a not-for-profit (with a social enterprise mindset) that provides a multidisciplinary and holistic set of supports for members of our community, including those who are: in transition, new to Canada, out of the workforce, and a host of other individual circumstances.
We currently knit together Settlement Services, Child Care, Employment Supports, Skills Training, and Language Training. For over 40 years, it is through supporting and empowering individuals and families (indeed the community as a whole) that we have achieved our goals.

We are looking for a client-oriented individual with solid analytical, project management, communication, organization, and teamwork skills to coordinate the activities IRSD project. The IRSD project is a two-year project that will research and test new tools and approaches to newcomer services to enhance remote service delivery and remove barriers to service access. The Research Specialist will support the strategic review of the program outputs, outcomes and support the evaluation of the impacts of the project. This position will be responsible for research and data collection activities; preparing statistical and analytical information; preparing reports and providing feedback. This position will strengthen efforts related to research, planning, focusing on program quality measurements and improvement and strategic planning.
Note: This is a fixed-term contract until March 2024. From February 2022 to June 2022 will be required to work 35hrs. From July 2022 to March 2024 will be required to work 17.5 hrs.
Qualifications and Experience:
The Learning Enrichment Foundation places a high value on lived experience. Personal experience with poverty, unemployment, homelessness, disabilities and/or similar challenges is strongly considered an asset
