We provide counselling and other essential services to the most vulnerable people in our communities. Here’s what we can do together:
Provide counselling, parent-education and support to families and children (0- 12 years) referred by MCFD and to provide linkage between the family, the community, MCFD and other professional services.
This is a permanent part-time role working 24.5 hours a week, schedule to be determined by successful applicant and Program Manager. This position reports to the Program Manager of Project Parent Fraser South. The position is located at FSGV’s Surrey (Guilford) office. Persons with a second language (i.e. Punjabi, Spanish, Farsi/Dari, Cantonese, Mandarin, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Family Counsellor is responsible for:
Conduct assessments of the needs, dynamics and functioning of families.

Work Hours: Part-time working 24.5 hours per week
Salary: Pay Grade GS12 Step 1 $1,585.64 gross bi-weekly with generous group health/dental benefits
Location: Work in the culturally diverse city of Surrey and its surrounding communities.
