Facilities Maintenance Worker
The Edmonton Humane Society has been an animal welfare leader in the Edmonton community since 1907. We are more than a shelter and a safe haven for thousands of animals in our care each year, We play a key role in the Edmonton region by enriching the lives of people and their companion animals not only through our sheltering, but through our programs, services and community engagement.
Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure, we are looking for a reliable, skilled Facilities Maintenance Worker to help oversee and manage the day-to-day operations and perform essential upkeep tasks throughout our facility. In this position, you will be responsible for a wide variety of activities such as repairs, service work, and cleaning to ensure that our facilities are both tidy and functional.
Being reliable and self-motivated with a keen eye for detail is essential in this job, as the ideal candidate will have significant work experience and solid technical knowledge. You should have the manual dexterity and physical stamina necessary for this work.

Hours: 40 hours a week; some scheduled evenings and weekends may be required.
