Buying a piece of enterprise software is challenging. Buying several cloud-based platforms for a sprawling, century-old institution is really challenging and really rewarding.
IT Procurement Specialist
In this newly created role, you will be the first in to lay the foundation for a modern IT procurement strategy and a competitive, defensible vendor selection process with associated contractual development. This widely known and respected not-for-profit organization is on a five-year plan to modernize the way they deliver services to their clients. They have been using a variety of systems and processes across the regions and they know that if they buy a better, integrated cloud-based set of tools, they will save money that can be poured into more programs. Saving $1,000 on a software licence will provide hundreds of meals.
This role will suit someone with at least 10 years of experience scoping and negotiating enterprise-scale contracts. You know how to squeeze a vendor in the most respectful way possible. It will be busy but you will not have to do it alone. There is a highly committed and accessible IT leadership group to provide support and guidance.
This is a permanent role located in Toronto but working on a hybrid basis. It comes with a base salary and excellent benefits but this is not-for-profit. You may need to be prepared to swap money for the mission.
