Since 1953, Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton (CCAS) has been supporting children, youth, and families, as one of two child protection agencies serving the Hamilton community. CCAS Hamilton works closely with other child- and family-focused community agencies to provide coordinated and complementary child welfare service. The Catholic Children’s Aid Society of Hamilton is now seeking an exceptional social services leader who will work collaboratively with the Board of Directors and the team to lead the vision, strategy and execution of programs, services, and operations essential to a growing and diverse community.
Reporting to a 16-member Board of Directors, the Executive Director will lead CCAS Hamilton in the effective delivery and management of services & programs, financial management, human resources, funding, and organizational planning. With a current budget of approximately $25 million, the incumbent will work closely with their 9-member leadership team and 164 full and part-time employees. The Executive Director will build key partnerships in the Catholic and broader Hamilton community. They will support and nurture relationships with key funders and granting agencies that can continue to strengthen the long-term sustainability of the organization.
For this critical leadership role, CCAS Hamilton is seeking an exceptional leader and communicator, comfortable in managing change that will benefit children, families, and their community. With relevant leadership experience in the child welfare or social services sector with a Master’s in Social Work and are a member in good standing with OCSWSSW, you will bring experience with financial stewardship, human resources, and funder management. You will be a communicant of the Catholic Church and will continue to deliver services in a manner which reflects the Agency’s Catholic faith, heritage, culture, and traditions.
