Crossroads Clinic Association is a Christian charity bringing community-based support and services to individuals experiencing unexpected pregnancy; providing specific health care services for pregnancy and sexual health; educating the community on sexual health and relationships; and providing care for those experiencing grief as a result of pregnancy loss (including abortion) or sexual trauma.

Position Details

The Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) fulfills a key role in supporting the healthcare services at the clinic.  Under the supervision of the Nurse Team Lead and the guidance of the Clinical Director, the Clinic RN participates in collaborative case management with the Client Services Director to ensure clients receive physical, emotional, and spiritual care that is evidence-based and trauma-informed. The Clinic RN ensures that all clients with healthcare needs that are beyond the scope of the clinic RNs are referred to an appropriate healthcare provider. 

This is a part-time, weekday, permanent position with opportunities for advancement and expansion of scope (12 hours per week, negotiable).

Applicant Requirements:

• Holds an active registered nurse’s license in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in supporting diverse client populations is an asset
• Must have good critical thinking skills and be able to work independently
