Position/Poste:  Employment Services Business Development Team Leader - Full time
 
Duties/Fonctions:
  • Provide input into business development such as designing programs for grant applications, RFPs or other local business development
  • Gather and disseminate data for reports as required for funders
  • Assist in development of presentations to stakeholders for business development purposes
  • Conduct research using multiple methods including desktop research and in person, phone and video communication
  • Establish, organize and maintain files for data storage and management to allow easy retrieval of information; requires strong organizational skills
  • Support and manage ES information navigation team
  • Distribute workload and manage performance expectations of direct reports
  • Review work product to ensure it is in compliance with MODC standards
  • Provide job training and coaching to staff
  • Case conference, trouble shoot, manage complaints in challenging situations
  • Provide direct service to clients as required
  • Job development activities as they relate to business development
  • Develop training, presentations and facilitate courses/programs as needed
  • Responsible for defined outcomes according to MODC contracts
Qualifications/Compétences requises:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Sales and Marketing or related field
  • 3-5 years experience working in the provision of Employment Services as funded through municipal, provincial federal or private sector contracts
  • 3 to 5 years Business Development experience including job development activities leading to increased employer accounts
  • Demonstrated experience in business development with a focus on employers
  • Ability to supervise and train employees to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Excellent customer service skills and sensitive to issues/barriers that persons with disabilities experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software
  • Highly organized, excellent time management and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently
Salary Range/Échelle des salaires: $40.38 per hour/ 35 hours per week
