Archway’s Casual/On-Call Support Worker for the Abbotsford Drop-In Centre contributes by:

• Providing a range of front-line support services to clients to ensure their health and well-being
• Collaborating with clients to help develop goals
• Providing assistance in connecting clients with community services and support

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building relationships, is good in handling disputes, has a positive attitude, and can create an upbeat and uplifting environment!   

Our Offer

• Wage: $23.93 per hour
• A casual position, requiring on-call availability for 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM shifts
• Temporary position until November 30, 2022

Getting an Interview - We would love to interview you if you have:

• Post-secondary education in the human services field, OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
• Experience in de-escalation and crisis management
• Experience working with people with substance abuse, and homeless, vulnerable populations
