Job Summary: The Team Lead is responsible for the management and administration of case management and youth programming in close collaboration with the second Team Lead and program Manager. The Team Lead provides training and direction to the Shelter’s staff team. Direction and support are also provided by the Team Lead to the Nurse, the Housing Support Worker, and the Trusteeship Worker. The Team Lead is an integral player in agency referral and supports frontline staff with case management and crisis resolution on an as-needed basis.
Compensation: Base annual salary of $49,000, comprehensive group medical insurance plan, Employee and Family Assistance Program, RRSP contribution, three weeks annually of vacation (pro-rated for the term), generous sick leave, a generous paid holiday schedule, in-house trainings, and professional development opportunities.
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, shifts that fall any day of the week, during day and evening hours. On-call rotation for a week at a time.

Reports to: Manager, Phoenix Youth Shelter
Screening Requirements: Due to the sensitive nature of our work with youth, this position is subject to a satisfactory criminal record check including a vulnerable sector search, a child abuse register check and proof of education.
