About Futurpreneur Canada
Futurpreneur Canada has been fuelling the entrepreneurial passions of enterprising young Canadians since 1996. We’re the only national, non-profit organization that provides financing, mentorship and resources to aspiring business owners aged 18-39. More than 15,000 young Canadian entrepreneurs, spanning every province and territory, have successfully launched their business with Futurpreneur’s support. Here’s the opportunity: Program Specialist, Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program
The Program Specialist, Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program plans, coordinates, implements and assesses the delivery of Indigenous-focused Futurpreneur Canada programming, and proactively contributes to its continuous improvements. Reporting to the Director, Entrepreneurship Programs, this role requires frequent cross-departmental coordination, specifically working closely with the Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program, Corporate Partnerships and Marketing / Communications, as well as liaising with other internal and external contributors to achieve programmatic goals.
This is a permanent, full-time position that can be located anywhere in Canada. The incumbent will be working remotely (due to COVID) in the first instance and will then be located at one of our offices, working within our hybrid work model (from June 2022 onwards). This role may require frequent travel.
What you will do:
Support the creation and implementation of new Futurpreneur Canada Programs/initiatives, with a focus on Indigenous programming (60%)
Support the coordination and implementation of current Futurpreneur Canada programs/initiatives, with a focus on Indigenous programming (20%)
General Program delivery support (20%)
