This position, based in Paris, ON, and the Quality and Accreditation Specialist will ensure
that Sensity operates in compliance with all applicable government legislation and relevant
Accreditation Standards and Compliance Standards. This position will provide direct support
to the agency in all matters relating to quality assurance and lead the agency in achieving
and maintaining accreditation status.


Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates the Accreditation Process;

• Liaises with external Accreditation staff members in regard to planning and preparing
for accreditation review and site visit requirements. Engages and advises internal
and external stakeholders around accreditation standards;

• Participates in quality assurance monitoring and related activities;

• Collaborates with team members across all agency departments for accreditation
preparation and quality assurance monitoring;

• Supports internal evaluation of policies, procedures, and practices to align with
quality assurance and accreditation standards;

• Provides regular status reports on the progress of accreditation domains, targets,
work to be completed, issues arising and areas of concern;

• Maintains agency accreditation status through development and implementation of
quality improvement plans;

• Serve as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC);

• Promotes a comprehensive quality approach to services - including the
understanding of standards to be met and compliance regulations;

• Champions a supportive learning environment that facilitates employee growth and

• All other duties as assigned.



• College Diploma in Human or Social Services or related field

• Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative role focused on quality service
delivery and coordination

• Knowledge of Accreditation standards, i.e. Focus Accreditation an asset

• Ability to be innovative

• Valid driver's license

• Strong computer proficiency, with working knowledge of MS Office Suite, including
Word, Excel, PowerPoint and database management

• Solid time management, attention to detail, diplomacy, persuasion and organizational

• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

• Advanced oral and written communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

• French (written and verbal) is an asset but not required



• The position is primarily performed in the head office setting.

• Regular requirement for work requiring attention to detail.

• Salaried position based on 40 hours / week, Monday to Friday.

• Occasional travel is required within Ontario.

• Regular requirement for manual dexterity / coordination for computer use; sustained
requirement for light physical exertion typical of an office position, such as sitting,
