About the Position: This is a part-time, temporary position, starting end of May to beginning of August (approximately 10 weeks). Reporting to the Fund Development Manager, the Database Analyst and Designer (Google Systems) will work closely with the Fund Development Administrator to provide technical and design support to the Fund Development Department. You will be responsible for building and editing data solutions using Google Sheets and Forms in order to automate the annual Adopt-a-Family initiative. You will identify areas for automation, make recommendations and implement changes (or new design system) using google systems to reduce human data entry errors. You will create export of required reports, lead testing of updated system and processes, write procedures for updated system, and implement new system. You will be responsible for training pilot group and leads to use the new system and reporting. Additionally, you will provide project support to the Fund Development Team, ensuring that planned activities are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
About You: You are a self-motivated individual with the ability to maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. You are able to demonstrate problem solving and analytical skills. You are an organized individual with superior time management skills. You possess exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong digital technology skills including experience using and designing in google systems (forms, sheets). In addition, you must be comfortable interacting with people from a variety of backgrounds as well as with people at all levels of the organization.
High school diploma and experience/or post-secondary education in related field is required. Experience working within a non-profit setting would be considered an asset. A Police Information Check and an Intervention Record Check must be completed upon hire.
This position is funded partially by the Government of Canada, Canada Summer Jobs Program, therefore candidates must be youth between the ages of 15 and 30.

The wage for this position is $22 per hour.
