Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) currently has an opening for a Bilingual (English/French) Manager, Government Engagement (Canada) based in Toronto. Reporting to the Director, Government Engagement (Canada), you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of CHS’ government-focused business development and sales strategies, and in ensuring customer experience excellence with governmental bodies at all levels (federal, provincial, municipal). This role will include promoting a client-focused culture and solution-based engagement and sales approach that promotes a diverse portfolio of products and services related to hearing health and accessibility solutions for people who are Deaf and hard of hearing. This will also involve delivering approved plans, growing regional and national sales, expanding the CHS brand and reputation nationally, optimizing all selling channels, and delivering an exceptional client experience at every point of interaction, including all incoming inquiries.
This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Travel within Ontario and Canada will be required; you must have a valid Driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma in business or marketing, combined with 5+ years' related work experience in progressive sales experience (technical products preferred) including an aptitude to present multiple product lines, close sales, and build business relationship with various stakeholders at both the grass roots and executive level. Experience and knowledge of accessibility legislation, as well as knowledge of assistive and adaptive devices and technology for people who have hearing loss would be a significant asset.
You are self-motivated with a proven track record of developing revenue growth plans, setting goals and achieving results, complemented by exceptional organizational and planning skills, and can consistently complete overlapping projects within tight deadlines and budgets. Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems (i.e. CRM Dynamics or equivalent databases) is also required.
As well, you possess an entrepreneurial mindset, along with superior interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation – in both English and French) and can truly appreciate and understand the challenges and needs of people living with hearing loss.
