The SainteāAnne de Bellevue Farmers' Market is looking for a person to organize and coordinate the market's special events, namely the Garlic Festival held at the end of August. The market is open every Saturday, from 9 am to 2 pm.
Responsibilities
The Special Events Coordinator will organize and coordinate the special events such as the Garlic Festival, the Harvest Fest, Honey Fest, etc. They must work with the vendors, the Market Coordinator, the Social Network Officer and the Board of Directors.
Tasks
The other special events of the farmers' market do not require additional participants and serve to promote the actual market vendors when their products are in season. The main tasks are linked to the promotion, the workshops and contests offered to visitors.
Required skills
Bilingual, organized, resourceful, communication and people management skills, knowledge of Word, Excel, Google Drive and its applications and email tools.
Other requirements
*International students are not eligible. Recent immigrants are eligible if they are Canadian Citizens or permanent residents.
