The Program – Stride Therapeutic Caregiving
Enviros is excited to be developing this newest model of care in the Child Intervention System. This Stride Therapeutic Caregiving- model is a therapeutic family based, culturally safe, short term out of home placement program intended to support children with complex trauma-impacted care needs. This model is a wraparound service that incorporates a Therapeutic Caregiver, as the primary change agent, working within a Therapeutic Team, including cultural supports to provide individualized trauma informed supports.
Therapeutic Caregivers provide youth with a safe, caring family home that can support their healthy development and meaningful connections until they are transitioned to their forever home. Therapeutic Caregivers will provide the daily experiences that help youth grow into healthy adulthood. Rooted in values and belief systems, Therapeutic Caregivers will identify youth’s strengths, encourage them in their challenges, cultivate specific experiences, and help them to build meaningful connections with people and communities who accept and value them. The successful candidates will be part of a team that operates the program from an experiential, strength- based perspective.
