Status: Contract, 30 hours per week for 9 weeks
Location: Scarborough, Ontario
Salary: $15.00/hour

Tasks and Responsibilities

• To develop and implement online marketing and social media strategies to advance the organization’s brand presence
• Serve as primary media contact; develop media outreach, fielding media inquiries and creating and maintaining media lists
• Prepare photography and other media for publication and maintain digital media library
• Create informative and engaging content for the organization’s website and social media platforms
• Create promotional materials for upcoming events, programs and services
• Manage and monitor website to ensure content is up to date

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

• Pursuing Post Secondary Education in Marketing management or Business Management or related field
• Strong problem-solving abilities, independent; be able to find and communicate solutions with little supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with proficiency in Tamil
• Expert in using Social Media platforms and marketing
• Organized, Multi-tasking abilities
• A flexible schedule including occasional evenings and weekends
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Screening from local Police Force
