Position Overview:
Reporting to the Manager, Youth Programs, the Youth Employment Specialist/Youth Support Worker, will assist to deliver Employment Skills training and Quality Employment Opportunity interventions to youth facing barriers. Assist with selecting participants; develops and delivers life and employability skills workshops; provides coaching, assists participants with job development; monitors and provides on-site support to participants during work placements, and maintains participant files.
The Youth Employment Specialist/Youth Support Worker, will be responsible to provide part or all aspects of the LIFE for Youth Program deliverables.
The primary focus for the Youth Employment Specialist/Youth Support Worker will be to support external placements.
