Job Description:

As a Young Adult Programs Coordinator, you will take on a central role that supports Frontlines’ goal in supporting youth 18-29 in a new and innovative program called FEET- Future Employment or Entrepreneurship Track program.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop new and revamping of existing curriculum for various programs
  • Create and facilitate employment or entrepreneurship workshops to groups of youth
  • Build partnerships with community agencies and connect with potential employers
  • Develop and maintain calendar of programming
  • Liaison with and book guest speakers
  • Coordinate supplies for programming with the support of Admin. Coordinator and Management
  • Assist in the preparation of youth’s resumes and cover letters
  • Facilitate, develop, and evaluate group/individual training with regards to pre-employment and job maintenance issues
  • Responsible for communicating members’ level of risk to staff
  • Other duties as assigned


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Lived experience similar to the racialized and marginalized youth that we serve 
  • Vaccine policy exists at Frontlines. Please ask or identify in your cover letter and resume
  • Minimum of three years experience in Youth Engagement or similar field
  • Able to provide excellent service delivery
  • Must be results-oriented, able to motivate and inspire self and others
  • Well developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with members, staff and volunteers
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Experience and sensitivity in dealing with members of different cultural and racial backgrounds, including visible and non-visible dimensions of diversity
  • Flexibility regarding assigned work hours and location

University Degree preferred or Community College Diploma in Career Planning, Business, Human Resources Management, Social Services, and/or related fields

Conditions of Employment:
The successful candidate must provide a Police reference check clearance (vulnerable sector)

Adhering to all Covid-19 mandates, all in-person staff are required to be fully vaccinated. All staff are required to wear PPE mask on site. Regular sanitizing of space, and Temperature checks required.
