The BC College of Nurses & Midwives is looking to fill the newly created role of Executive Director, Regulatory Programs Transformation. This position will work closely with leaders across the regulatory programs of the College to ensure an integrated approach to achieving the future vision of the organization.

BCCNM is the college empowered under the Health Professions Act to regulate the practice of all licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, registered midwives, registered nurses, and registered psychiatric nurses in British Columbia. What you’ll be doing
The Executive Director, Regulatory Programs Transformation (ED, RPT), works closely with the Chief Officer, Regulatory Policy & Programs (RPP), and plays a critical role in executing strategy and creating integrated and efficient approaches for RPP. Working in partnership with RPP Executive Directors, the Executive Director, Systems Transformation, and the Executive Director, Strategy, Governance & Culture, the ED, RPT works across all RPP program areas to design, develop and progress programs, policies, and processes to advance optimal functioning of RPP programs; monitors and evaluates the outcomes and impact of initiatives.
The ED, RPT executes strategic cross-program, policy and project initiatives that align with the strategic directions of the College. The ED, RPT, ensures cross-program regulatory priorities and risks are clear and focusses on optimizing an integrated regulatory service delivery model.
The ED, RPT applies legislation, regulation, bylaws, regulatory philosophy, compliance, public safety, and risk concepts when making program and project plans and decisions.
