The Refugee Centre is a non-profit organization in Montreal that aims to facilitate the integration process for all newcomers. We are currently looking for a Full Stack Web Developer who will work on building the next steps of one of our existing projects: LUNA AI.

Responsibilities

• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
• Create security and data protection settings
• Build features and applications with a web responsive design

Skills and Experience Required 

• 1-2 years experience
• Knowledge of React, Node.js & Firebase
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
• Experience developing desktop applications
• Familiarity with common stacks
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Great attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• An analytical mind, some experience with chatbots preferred.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field
