JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The WMTS Supervisor provides support to staff and clients within our residential Withdrawal Management and Treatment Services programs. This includes an 18-bed facility (7 withdrawal management beds for any gender and 11 men’s residential treatment beds) and a 10-bed residential treatment facility for women. The programs are staffed by a multidisciplinary team who provide counselling, support, withdrawal monitoring, medication-supported withdrawal, education, and skills development to support client recovery. Your primary location of work will be the women’s residential treatment facility. You will provide ad hoc support to the daily operations of that program primarily and the other facility secondarily. The predominant focus for this role will be program-wide staff recruitment and retention.
You will ensure the provision of high-quality services through effective staff recruitment, onboarding, and training processes. You support staff to identify learning and coaching needs to ensure they can effectively perform their roles, liaising with their direct supervisor as needed. You will have global oversight over staff scheduling, to ensure shifts are adequately covered by well-trained team members. The ideal candidate has experience in substance use/concurrent disorders intervention to support staff to deliver a program that is trauma-informed, strengths based, and honours harm reduction philosophy. The Supervisor works collaboratively with the internal Addiction and Mental Health department team and community partners to ensure continuity of care for clients. You make a difference!
As the WMTS Supervisor, you will:
Hours of work: This position works diverse hours Sunday to Thursday (37.5 hours per week) in a 2-week rotation to ensure adequate staff and program support.
Week 1:
Sunday 8 am – 1 pm
Monday 8 am – 4 pm
Tuesday 8 am – 4 pm
Wednesday 8 am – 5 pm
Thursday 8 am – 4 pm
Week 2:
Sunday 8 am – 1 pm
Monday 11 am – 7 pm
Tuesday 11 am – 7 pm
Wednesday 8 am – 4 pm
Thursday 11 am – 7 pm
Some schedule flexibility (to be discussed with successful candidate).
Supervisors also participate in an after-hours on-call rotation (anticipated one week in every 5).
Training: Initial comprehensive training related to all aspects of the role, as well as access to ongoing professional development

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Compensation for Supervisors who are registered with OCSWSSW or CRPO: Hourly wage starting at $27.69 plus shift premiums and group health, dental, accidental death & serious illness, and travel insurance benefits.
Compensation for Supervisors who are not registered with OCSWSSW or CRPO: Hourly wage starting at $25.33 plus shift premiums and group health, dental, accidental death & serious illness, and travel insurance benefits.
