Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Senior Collections Officer role in Toronto. Reporting to the Financial Services Supervisor, the Senior Collections Officer will be responsible for the collection of all trade receivables for CHS’ offices, departments, and programs including resolving issues involving invoicing and receivables.
This is a full-time contract position, working Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. for one year.
The ideal candidate has a three-year college diploma in Accounting or PREP CPA, complemented by three-five years’ related work experience in Accounts Receivable collections, cash receipt applications, and account reconciliations including ADP, WSIB, Blue Cross, and all other funders. You are also proficient working with Excel, Word, and Sage100 and can easily meet cyclical deadlines.
You will be someone with a sense of urgency who can handle pressure and can manage a varied workload with competing priorities and deadlines. The successful candidate will also have excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
