The Position:

In support of the Vision, Mission and Values of LutherCare Communities, we are looking for a Network Administrator to join our team. The Network Administrator is responsible for overseeing and supporting LCC’s computer hardware and software systems to ensure high levels of availability, security, and efficiency of the supported business applications.

Under the supervision of the Accounting Manager, the Network Administrator will ensure staff have the proper computer hardware, software, network access, and telecommunication systems to complete their assigned duties in an efficient manner. The network administrator will also be responsible for analyzing and resolving end user hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and providing end user training where required.

In particular, the Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, analysis, design, development, and deployment of SharePoint and O365 solutions. Examples of these solutions may include enterprise content management, client-facing portals, custom business process workflows, and business intelligence dashboards. The Network Administrator will work with all stakeholders to analyze business needs, design appropriate solutions, and manage projects to implement those solutions to meet stakeholder and business value expectations.

The Applicant: Applicants would typically qualify for this position with the below qualifications, knowledge, skills and abilities:

Education:

  • Two-year diploma in computer networking or computer science from a recognized institution (an equivalent combination of directly related post-secondary education and directly related experience may be considered).
  • Minimum of two years progressive work experience providing support as a systems administrator, or similar, and expertise in SharePoint / O365 administration and development.

Experience:

  • Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s license with a clean driving abstract and use of a vehicle.
  • Proven experience in the implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products and documenting business and IT processes.

Specialized Technical Knowledge:

  • Microsoft SharePoint and O365
  • Windows Operating Systems
  • 3-5 years of VMware administration experience
  • Windows Server Technologies
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Microsoft Office Products
  • Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Teams (considered an asset)
  • Accompanying certifications (considered an asset)
