Position: Part time and Casual Before and After School Childcare Workers          

Start Date: September 2022

Wage: $21.20/hour to start (Union currently under negotiations)

Hours: Vary from 10 to 20 hours per week

Job Summary

To work under the site Team Lead to provide a fun and safe environment for children grade Kindergarten to seven on a daily basis. Majority of shifts will be after school until 6pm, with some opportunity for before school hour as well as extended hours for Pro d days, school closures (winter break, spring break etc.) May have opportunity for full time hours during summer break.

Duties will include running activities, ensuring a clean space, daily outdoor play and activities, signing children in and out of program to authorized adult, communicating with the parents, preparing snacks and working as part of a team to ensure the program runs smoothly.

Qualifications

Must be 19yr or older

Have a valid First Aid Certificate, Food Safe Certificate an asset

Clean Criminal Record Check

Experience working with children

Some course work on working with children (or willing to get some)

Proof of Up-to-Date Vaccinations

Energetic and likes to have fun (Kid at heart)
