About Covenant House Vancouver
Since 1997, Covenant House Vancouver has provided relentless support for youth experiencing, or at-risk of experiencing, homelessness. We provide support to young people age 16 to 24 who have experienced a wide range of early life and ongoing, complex trauma; including physical, sexual and emotional abuse and neglect. Our purpose is to serve all youth, with absolute respect and unconditional love, to help youth experiencing homelessness, and provide a safe and supportive environment for all youth in need.
The Philanthropy Associate 2, Donations Processing is responsible for ensuring exemplary donations administration and customer service to Covenant House Vancouver’s donors. Through effective and efficient donation administration and stewardship, the Development Associate contributes to the team’s fundraising efforts and focuses on donation processing and data entry. With the opportunity to build and maintain relationships with our donors.
This position is primarily in the office at 1280 Seymour Street with a possibility of a few days a month to work from home.
You have shared values with CHV and enjoy working with a donor database, so the team may successfully steward our diverse donors and connect them with the causes they care about. You enjoy taking initiative and being organized in providing administrative support. You can work independently and as part of team. You want to make a difference to help youth who are experiencing homelessness and care about the success of your teammates and the organization.
This position reports to and provides direct support to the Supervisor of Donations Processing.
