Position Summary:
Pacific Community Resources Society requires an experienced leader to work as part of an integrated program supporting young females. This position will be responsible for supporting a team of three (3) who work specifically with sexually exploited youth and carrying a specialized caseload of young women (13-19) who are currently involved or at risk of being involved in gangs.
The successful applicant will have a high-level understanding of all aspects of how young women enter and exit gang life and have a solid understanding of the trauma-informed practice. The successful applicant will be able to provide outreach response and support services, establish relationships and rapport, and offer immediate response services to situations involving youth sexual exploitation, locating missing youth, gang-involved youth and assist in the development of wrap-around service plans
The team leader will have in-depth knowledge of gangs in Surrey.
The successful applicant will bring the leadership experience and knowledge to support a team and will offer education around youth in gangs, human trafficking and sexual exploitation to youth and professionals as needed. Applicants should have experience being a part of multidisciplinary care teams and have a strong background in collaborative planning.
Hours are based on a flexible schedule as required but will primarily cover early afternoon until mid-evening as there may be a need for earlier or later hours depending upon circumstances; offering support at key times a day and/or evening and coordinating others to assist when the case manager is not available. The schedule may vary at any time between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Salary Range: $30.67/hour – $32.01/hour, plus term benefit package (100% employer-paid)
