Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for a Supervisor, Scheduling Services. Reporting to the Manager, Interpreting Services, the Supervisor, Scheduling Services is responsible for overseeing the workload and performance of Scheduling Services staff to ensure the effective, efficient delivery of ASL and LSQ Interpreting, CART (Communication Access Realtime Translation) and Translation services.

This is a permanent, full-time, non-unionized position working 35 hours per week. Standby evening and weekend work will also be required.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree in Business Administration, combined with relevant work experience, plus excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Internet/website applications as well as proven experience working with databases.

You are fluent in American Sign Language (ASL) and possess a strong understanding of issues related to hearing loss, Deafness, and Deaf culture. We are also looking for an enthusiastic individual who has exceptional supervisory skills (including delegating, coaching, and performance management skills) and is self-motivated to consistently maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and respond effectively to shifting priorities and deadlines.
