Role Overview 
This role is responsible for the coordination, execution and delivery of fundraising events and programs at the local level, ensuring that these meets or exceed revenue and attendance targets. This includes national campaigns, mission delivery programs, initiated campaigns and local community-based events and virtual across Ontario. 
Key Responsibilities of the role include: 
Fundraising/Revenue Generation
  • Meet or exceed annual fundraising goals by coordinating and executing various fundraising events and programs in alignment with regional and national plans.
  • Drive attendance at events through cold calling, networking, etc.
  • Identify and maximize event revenue generation opportunities e.g., ticket sales, silent auctions, raffles, table sales etc. to meet or exceed fundraising goals.
  • Solicit sponsorships up to $5,000.
Corporate/Community Engagement and Networking
  • Lead Volunteer engagement including student interns, event volunteers, committee development and Canada Summer jobs interns: solicit, leverage, and engage volunteers to support and run events.
  • Source and cultivate strategic partnerships with service clubs and Lace Up participants by engaging network and support through sharing of resources, tools, and best practices.
Event Management
  • Collaborate with the regional and national teams to identify fundraising events and develop implementation plans for event maximization and execution at the local level.
  • Lead the regional marketing strategy and implementation for Ontario Events and partnerships.
  • Coordinate and execute events within the expense budget.
  • Evaluate return on investment and implement improvements to achieve higher impact and return at future events.
  • Anticipate and plan for future events, trends, problems, and opportunities.
  • Experience with email marketing, social media and with tools such as Canva.

  • Demonstrated experience managing large events (250+) and working with volunteers
