YSB employs 350 caring professionals in a unionized environment in over 26 locations across Ottawa.

The Partner, People & Culture is one of two generalist positions within the People & Culture (P&C) Team (Human Resources).   • Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback for continuous improvement;
  • Remain up-to-date with labor legislations and the evolving P&C best practices;
  • Assist employees with their day-to-day P&C needs.

This opportunity may be right for you if:

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field (or a combination of education and experience);

  • You are thoroughly knowledgeable or eager to learn about innovative P&C solutions;
  • You are organized, have great attention to details and truly care about the quality of your work;

  • Your decision making and problem-solving skills are sharp;
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are strong;
  • Your sense of ethics and professionalism is high and you are able to keep confidential information;
  • You are able to work with minimal supervision and willing to travel to YSB’s different locations in Ottawa.
