Job Summary:

Provide out of school child care at our brand facility at Irene Kelleher Totí:ltawtxw Elementary School.

Your Role:

Archway’s Out of School Care Worker with the Eagle’s Nest Early Learning Centre contributes by:

  • Providing engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children 6-11 years of age.
  • Using the Early Learning Framework and emergent curriculum to provide an environment that reflects the interests of the children.

Our Offer

  • $21- $23 (dependent on education) per hour.
  • A part-time position at 27.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, split shifts in the morning 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM AND afternoon/evening from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Getting an Interview – you will be considered if you have:

  • Education: a minimum of 20-hour Responsible Adult Course; ECE license is preferred.
  • Experience working with children between the ages of 6-11 years.
  • Understanding of the Early Learning Framework.

 

The Job Requires you to have:

  • Ability to engage in outdoor activities/sports.
  • Ability to work with children at conflict resolution and creating environments conducive to social emotional regulation.
  • First Aid certificate is a condition of employment.
  • A satisfactory criminal record check is a condition of employment.
