Compensation: $87,500 - $102,500K, depending on experience, plus competitive leave and benefits package after an initial disqualification period
Location: Vancouver office, located at 190 Alexander Street, or South Surrey Office

About the Job:
We are looking for an inspired Director, of Facilities Management to join our operations department and who will be responsible for implementing the overall strategy for operational management and facility development at Atira. Reporting to the Executive Director, Operations, the Director is responsible for providing leadership and vision for facility planning and operations (land, buildings, and infrastructure), including assisting in the development of Atira’s strategic plans, assisting with the design, and providing oversight on the construction of new capital projects, and managing the ongoing operation and maintenance of all physical facilities of Atira. The Director is also responsible for providing leadership and vision for all facilities-related business services including the management of occupational health & safety, emergency management and security services; procurement services (purchasing, receiving, vehicles); contracts and risk management services; contracted food and vending services; and daycare facilities.

Qualifications:
You have a degree, diploma, or certificate level training in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field, supplemented with a minimum of 10 years of recent relevant experience in building and facilities management including a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with a strong ability to foster a supportive and client-focused climate among employees and departments. Experience with project management and/or construction management is required.
