Benefits / Payroll Administrator (30 hrs/wk) - Maple Ridge
Primary role: Under direct supervision, provides individual advice and assistance to employees of this CARF-accredited agency. Administers group benefit and/or pension enrolments as well as degroupment activities according to plan requirements. Resolves employee benefit questions and problems, as appropriate, and makes adjustments and corrections to benefits data and documentation. Ensures compliance with remittance schedules, provincial and federal laws, contractual agreements and company policy, and provides interpretive information and guidance to employees on benefit and/or pension plan compliance issues.
Secondary role: serves as backfill support to payroll department with processing, communication and related HR administrative duties.
This permanent, part-time Employee Benefits / Payroll Administrator position will work 30 hours per week, based upon an 0830-1700 work day, Monday through Thursday and/or Friday; or, a schedule as approved/agreed upon at time of hire.
This position is based at the Central Administration office in Maple Ridge BC.
Compensation is negotiable, commensurate upon position qualifications and experience.
Occasional physical effort required. Limited or no exposure to physical risk.

As An Ideal Candidate You Possess
High School diploma AND a diploma in a related field (i.e. administration, human resources) with a MINIMUM of 3 YEARS of directly related experience in both benefit / payroll administration and Human Resources.
