In close collaboration with the Oxfam team members in El Salvador, the advisor will be in charge for accompanying the VCP Capacity Building Table, composed of eight (8) partners and Oxfam in El Salvador, carrying out the following responsibilities:

  • Strengthen CSO capacity by reviewing documents, instruments, plans, policies, and organizational protocols, by developing adaptations, by instilling self-care, collective psycho-emotional care, and organizational culture approaches with a gender and human rights approach
  • Contribute to the collective construction and development of a plan to strengthen and promote well-being, self-care, and organizational culture
  • Implement training and professional development processes on gender equality, diversity, intersectional inclusion, human rights, and the prevention of gender-based violence
  • Develop capacity-building processes for partners in psychosocial care, psychological first aid and self-care
  • Design and monitor the implementation of prevention strategies on gender-based violence and psychosocial approaches
  • Promote spaces for dialogue and democratic debate which allow the participants to propose their ideas and notions for the transformation of current conditions
  • Contribute actively to the constructive criticism resulting from the evaluation of training processes, draw lessons from them and use them as a basis for improvement
  • Develop context analyses and prepare reports for the VCP and the country office
