The Network of Networks (N2) is a not-for-profit incorporated organization and an alliance of Canadian research networks and organizations working to enhance national clinical research capability and capacity. Bringing together trialists and clinical research professionals from across the country, N2 provides a common platform for sharing best practices, resources and research-related content to ensure efficient and high-quality research, integrity of clinical practices and accountability. The organization is truly representative of clinical research in Canada and acts as a national voice and advocate on behalf of a broad range of stakeholders that have an impact on the efficiency and quality of clinical trials conducted in Canada. Working under direction of the N2 Executive Director and with guidance from the N2 Education Committee Co-Chairs, the N2 Education Specialist will coordinate a project to identify high- priority clinical research training topics, and the resources required to develop them. This would include an environmental scan, seeking resources from key subject matter experts and meeting with key stakeholders to identify clear objectives for the proposed content. The N2 Education Specialist will also provide recommendations on a standardized course template and how to approach selection of an optimal Learning Management System (LMS) to house new training content.
The successful candidate requires clinical research experience, experience with e-learning software, knowledge of LMS platforms, and strong project management skills. It would be an asset to have knowledge of Instructional Course Design techniques and approaches for adult education.
Bachelors degree in health related field or equivalent
