Quint Development Corporation is a unique non-profit organization that has been contributing and making things happen in the community for over 27 years. Over that period, Quint Development has focused on creating opportunities for safe and affordable housing, building capacity through jobs and training, and developing vibrant communities through economic development and social enterprise in Saskatoon's west-side core neighbourhoods. As a result of retirement, Quint Development is seeking a new Executive Director to lead the strategic priorities and operational and future growth objectives of the organization.
As the Executive Director, you work with and report directly to the Board of Directors and are responsible for providing leadership and oversight to financial, administrative, program and service activities, and public relations. Your expertise ensures Quint Development Corporation applies the best operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, risk management, and people systems in a dynamic and changing environment. You co-manage Station 20 West Development Corporation and are a member of the Board of Directors of the Community First Development Fund of Saskatoon.
Drawing upon your leadership experience and empowerment and collaborative approach, you build a unified team and lead employees, stakeholders, and partners to buy into the organization’s vision to build capacity and caring inclusive communities where the diverse voices in the community are heard and citizens can grow. With superior communication, change management, problem-solving, and visioning skills, you see opportunities and build relationships to advocate for the communities served. You are critical to building a values-driven organizational culture that embraces diversity, inclusivity, and reconciliation.
A post-secondary degree in community economic development or a university degree supported by business administration training with 10+ years of progressive leadership and governance experience, demonstrated commitment to social justice, community economic development and affordable housing, and an understanding of poverty, homelessness, barriers to employment, racism, and reconciliation.
Quint Development Corporation strives to employ a workforce that is representative of the neighbourhoods in which it operates.
