McCreary Centre Society is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant to facilitate the smooth running of the society.


Duties will include front desk reception, record maintenance, maintenance of office equipment and supplies, administrative support of meetings, liaising with contractors and suppliers, and coordinating maintenance and building repairs.


The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, excellent attention to detail and an ability to take initiative and problem solve. Experience of administrative systems, internet and computer networks, and working in an office environment is preferred. Interest in youth health and a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion are essential.


The position is ideal for a candidate who is flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment and who enjoys being an essential and contributing member of a team.

This is an hourly paid position at $21 per hour for 37.5 hrs per week (with opportunities for advancement). Part-time hours may also be available. Employees are entitled to MSP and health benefits upon completion of 6 months’ employment. Additional benefits include professional development and health and wellness funding, and an optional RRSP scheme.
