Canadian Hearing Services (CHS) has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk who will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payment of both Canadian and U.S. accounts for different departments in CHS. This will include receiving and processing purchase orders, cheque requisitions and billing statements, as well as preparing month-end accounts payable accruals and reconciliations, plus assisting with month-end and year-end closings.
This is a part-time, contract (unionized) position, working 28 hours/per week, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., for six months.
The ideal candidate will have a two-year College diploma in Accounting or Level 2 CGA, as well as 3-5 years’ related work experience (ideally in a healthcare sector). You have strong data entry skills and will be at intermediate level using MS Excel and Word, plus MAS 90.
