Senior Manager, Clinical Operations

Reporting to the clinical director, the senior manager of Clinical Operations will provide leadership and oversight to assigned program areas to ensure the delivery of high quality, evidence-informed care for children, adolescents and their families served by CASA. Key responsibilities include translating organizational strategy into operational plans; developing and managing annual budgets; managing assigned facilities; developing and implementing evaluation/ quality frameworks and metrics; developing and implementing clinical policy; and nurturing linkages with key stakeholders. The senior manager provides direct supervision to assigned professional practice leads, clinical managers (in collaboration with medical leads) and contracted staff. The senior manager will:
Provide leadership through role modelling, inspiring the vision of CASA, address opportunities and challenges, support staff through accountability and ownership, and encourage innovation.
Promote a work environment of safety and quality care for staff and patients.
Partner with other functions within the organization such as Human Resources to execute the everyday business of clinical programs.
Develop annual operational plans to achieve CASA’s strategic objectives in collaboration with directors, managers and professional practice leads.
Participate in the development of clinical standards and ensure adherence to established clinical standards and guidelines.
Assist with program reporting including: staffing patterns/ trends, workload issues, program and patient outcome data, and reportable incidents/ risk management.
Provide on-call coverage to CASA House, and coverage for the clinical director role as required.
Identify and manage budget requirements for human and capital resources for assigned programs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, prioritize and implement clinical education needs.

Minimum Salary: $92,000
Maximum Salary: $139,000
Hours per Shift: 7.25
Shifts per Week: Five
Days Off: Saturday/Sunday
Graduate Degree in a relevant clinical field.
Five years of management experience in a mental health or health care setting working with multidisciplinary teams.
A combination of a Bachelor’s Degree and minimum seven years of health management experience may be considered.
Registration with the relevant college, association or professional body.
Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and providing leadership to other leaders.
Skill in program planning and development.
Capability in developing, monitoring and delivering on quality improvement and innovation.
