Home Visitation Supports
We deliver home visitation supports using a holistic approach designed to strengthen and enrich families with children prenatally – 6 years old. We support early childhood experiences aimed at fostering optimal child development and healthy parent-child attachment. Supports include parent education opportunities created with a focus of building on and enhancing the capacity of each family. The provision of information and referral are a key practice in supporting families to grow and learn within their community.
This Position
This position optimizes the health of at risk pregnant women and babies by providing prenatal support and education, food supplements, nutrition counseling and linkages to existing community resources. The position requires facilitation of educational groups specific to Building Incredible Babies including a cooking group.
