The Program
The WJS Canada Central Administration office supports management and direct service employees in 3 provinces across Canada. This opportunity allows you to make a positive difference within your role as an semi entry to mid level Human Resource professional working from with our Central/National Administration office, located in Maple Ridge BC.

The Position
As a member of the Human Resources team you will use your skill and experience in human resource administration, benefit and/or payroll processes to tackle a variety of tasks and projects, and where no two days look the same.

In Your Role You Will
• Assist to advise employees on a full range of employee group benefit plans.

• Review and process individual benefits applications and related documentation; contact applicants as necessary to clarify information provided on forms.
• Coordinate processes and enter benefit enrollments with employee benefit data into relevant databases.
• Help audit and support reconciliation of benefit payables.
• Utilize Ceridian Dayforce HRIS system to help administer additions, changes and/or adjustments in HR, payroll and benefit applications.
• Data entry, as well as create, edit, revise letters, excel tables, reports and other related materials.
• Perform a wide range of HR operational support activities as assigned by the Human Resources management personnel.
• Miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

As An Ideal Candidate You Possess
• Certificate or Diploma in a related field (i.e. business administration, human resources)
• 2+ years experience in HR, benefit and/or payroll administration.
• Ceridian Dayforce HRIS Payroll experience
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills (both written and oral), adept with spreadsheets/creating reports (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge and understanding of group benefit and payroll principles, practices, procedures and documentation; open enrollment systems and procedures; provincial and federal laws pertaining to employee benefits and personal income tax issues.
