Position: COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ASSISTANT (Temporary)
Location: 882 Maple St, White Rock
Hours: This a full-time, contract position at 35 hours / week [Monday to Friday] during business hours and potentially on the weekends. This is a 14-month contact position until March 2024 with possible extension dependent on funding.
We are looking for a Community Engagement Assistant to join our Sources Volunteer Services team. This individual must be energetic, creative and passionate about bringing communities together.

Description of position
Reporting to the Manager of Volunteer Resources, the Community Engagement Assistant is a temporary employee of Sources Community Resources. The Community Engagement Assistant will provide direct service and administrative support to the programs operated by Sources Seniors’ Hub and Volunteer Services. The focus will be on assisting with program development for older adults that create meaningful opportunities to participate in their community through volunteerism that align with Sources’ values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
