Place des Arts is seeking a committed, enthusiastic and qualified Ceramics and Sculpture Instructor who is passionate about art and teaching children and youth.
The successful candidate will teach in-person handbuilding and mixed media sculpture classes for students aged 5-7 and 8-12 years at Place des Arts during our Summer Fun! Art Camps during the afternoons of the following weeks:
The successful candidate will also teach in-person handbuilding and wheel throwing classes for students aged 13-17 years at Place des Arts during our 2023/2024 season.

Place des Arts provides quality arts education in visual arts, music, dance and drama for all ages and skill levels. REMUNERATION
Starting at $40 per hour. Instructors are contracted to a self-employment agreement. Place des Arts coordinates studio space, scheduling, registration and program promotions.
REQUIREMENTS
The application of Place des Arts COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended however, should the policy be re-implemented, it will be a requirement for all current and future self-employed teachers. All teachers are required to obtain and provide a Police Information Check with a vulnerable sector check prior to commencing work.
