Position: Director of Development
Location: Remote. The position may be located anywhere in Canada, with the understanding that meetings will most often be coordinated according to Pacific Time, and frequent in-person meetings in Vancouver BC will be required. From time to time, the position will also require travel elsewhere in Canada and the United States
Start Date: March 15th, 2023
Position Status: Full Time. Salaried. Generous benefits package after three months.
Four Day Work Week: Ecotrust Canada has adopted a four-day work week of 32 hours, Monday through Thursday.
Reporting: This position will be a member of Ecotrust Canada’s Executive Team and will report directly to Ecotrust Canada’s President and CEO.
Salary Range: $105,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary
Ecotrust Canada is seeking a skilled, and experienced fundraising professional to join our executive team to oversee, plan, and implement all of the organization’s fundraising. The position will also have a role in assisting our community partners to access funds. Ecotrust Canada’s current funding is largely program driven, and the Director of Development will be expected to continue to support the development of program related grants and contracts, while also substantially expanding our unrestricted and major donor fundraising efforts. A key priority for the position will be to develop strategic alternatives that can build a stable, and sustainable revenue base to support the organization’s long-term health and execution of its mission.
